after releases on john osbourne’s label tanstaafl bill youngman once again rips it off for killekill with our catalog number 019.from straight forward, hard hitting techno as in levitate he crosses over to the typical youngman style 2-step/techno hybrid as in magnetic. broken beats and playful me- oldies as in teardrop turns to solid are definitely not new to him, but the combi-nation of these two elements, as we find it here, definitely is. a beautiful masterpiece that works for the lonely hours as well as for the peaktime dancefloors.

dcs maxmillion dunbar drops in on hot haus recs with a low slung 90s house jam backed with a remix from brookylns willie burns. not content with dropping one of 2013s most nacclaimed albums: house of woo, max d started 2014 with releases on trilogy tapes, a split with 4 heros dego on berceuse heroique, an ep on l.i.e.s and now brings the heat to hot haus recs in effekt. willie burns, a regular creme organisation, ttt & l.i.e.s affilate.. no stranger to the world of uttu drops a sleazy sci fi rework, a 7am drizzly affair that is either going to work or heading home ... we cant decide.

when two talented international producers such as tato and andrew grant get together and join forces, not even superstition that could surround the ominous 13th mallorcan tato - head of the label isgud - and yankee andrew grant are two of the main players for the ibizan club dc-10 and the well known italian party circoloco. oblack - the label from los pastores - united them on this ep and the result is.. carry on reading. the point is that with rewayna, tato, and with the collaboration of the tech master andrew grant, he gives a new twist to this underground house without concesions that characterize his sound.

out of the ordinary is a celebration of strangeness. not the outer-worldly strange inventions of our minds, but the kind of strangeness we come across in our every day lives, hidden in the little details.

more like encouraging advice than a description of our sound. a home for music of the night. music to make you wonky and stay out longer than you planned. dilo is from argentina but makes music in berlin. hes been flying under the radar but not for long. this track is slinky and tripped out and we love it. we also love mathias meyers music and alongside patlac theyve been creating some magic as of late. strings and tight beats make for a more emotional journey which we also like.

graham luckhurst, aka greymatter is one of the core producers of wolf music alongside medlar and krl. with a love for deep cuts, booming sonics and an amalgamation of influences that incorporates everything from jazz and world, garage to hip hop, luckhurst has developed progressive production and dj-ing styles that are uniquely his own. with a list of collaborative remixes the length of your arm, his experience as a producer is not to be overlooked and describing his output as prolific would be an understatement. greymatters sound is fine-tuned for cutting edge sound-systems and modern clubbing ears.

after releasing one of the most memorable records of the year in 2013, the roman dj returns with another amazing piece of work. the age, on the a side, is an ambient track with psychedelic rock and new age music incursions, showing once again his love for downtempo stuff. orion 314, on the b side, is a slow and straight deep techno train that will not disappear all lovers of this kind of sound.

the lone roamer is the experimental and deep side of riccardo dagostini, inspired by a dystopian world in which almost all the life forms are dead after an unspecified event. wandering alone through that devastated world is not just a physical act, it is a real personal and deep journey.

190 to 220 bpm hardcore, with a complex structure, loads of breaks and beats... but not crossbreed yet. more axed on a kind of breakcore, glitch and drill at some points... but of course, hardcore is there, with its classic expected tricks and its 4/4 constent, coming often after 2 or 3 minutes, like a candy

russian producer sanys has impressed with a series of raw techno records on his downfall theory label - and his latest release further showcases his talents. dominance starts with atmospheric synth washes before a granular bass and relentless percussion propel it forward. like previous sanys releases however, this is not straightforward linear techno and a rumbling vocal and insistent drums will keep the listener engaged. my concern sees sanys opt for a different approach, with a pulsing bass and a crystalline synth line going up and down the scales, intertwined with a vocal snippet, while told you so features another stylistic shift. on this occasion, it s back to the darker sound that was audible on some of the earlier downfall theory releases. tight, snappy drums and robust, insistent claps provide the basis for a droning, murky bassline that cuts through the arrangement like a lighthouse rays in the dark of night. finally, irish producer eomac, one half of lakker, delivers a version of dominance that centres on lithe broken beats, ghostly melodies and insidious tonal shifts. as its title suggests, dominance shows sanys has become a master of the techno form.

the latest installment from the labels mystery man takes us out of the jungle and into the mountains, where syncopated analog rhythms dance beside electric melodies surrounding a caravan of textures and reflection. not much else needs to be said about this one except its either for you or not, if so, enjoy and elevate.

its time for local talk to go local again with another swedish producer, eric ericsson. with numerous releases out in labels like planet e, fragile and freerange he is one of those producers with one foot in the techno scene and another in the more soulful house scene. basically, he is not a one trick pony! for his release on local talk we would say he lands somewhere between classic chi-town house and thumping nyc house groove but without sounding too retro or washed out. its simply real house music!

the cellar boyz *pay me* is taken from ben cenacs timeless cozmic house ep on thug records. pay me which was recorded in 1986 is the only track from the cozmic house e.p that had available parts. the stems for deeper & deeper, seems to me & who loves you were never recorded. this was due to the fact that all of bens projects through out the 90s were tracked midi only at mix down, with only the vocals being recorded to tape! thug would never have had the opportunity to release ben cenacs cozmic house 12 inch if it had not been for simoncino. simoncino did all the a&r for the record. a gift not only for thug but any fans of ben cenacs amazing productions. with that in mind, simoncino has provided 2 remixed versions of pay me, alongside a remix from close friend nicholas!
